We enjoyed the beautiful winter landscape as we drove up to the Northwoods for Katherine and Jason’s wedding day. When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed by the couple’s friends and family. You could feel the excitement in the air! Everyone had a part in the wedding preparations and were so excited to help out. The day wouldn’t have been complete without a stop at the family hardware store and some photos at the fire station where Katherine and Jason volunteer. These two are such kind, generous, and family oriented people and couldn’t have had a better day!
We recently had the honor of filming Josh and Jerad’s extremely romantic wedding day! Josh and Jerad chose to celebrate their winter wedding on a Thursday to coincide with their 10-year anniversary. The grooms own buds ‘n bloom design studio in Green Bay, so we expected the floral arrangements to be stunning, but WOW, we were still blown away by that ceremony arch! So many little details made every part of the day special. They even used Jerad’s Grandmother’s Franciscan Ware china to serve dinner at the reception!
Congratulations Josh and Jerad!
Watching the sun as it rises over the city of Milwaukee is truly an amazing experience. Nichole got ready for her big day at The Brewhouse Inn & Suites, a hotel set in the historic former Milwaukee Pabst brewery. The sunset streamed through the window and beautifully silhouetted Nichole’s two wedding dresses. Yes, I did indeed say two wedding dresses! Nichole changed into her second dress during the reception and it was the ideal party dress, perfect for twirling! While Nichole was getting ready to show off the dress to her new husband, guests enjoyed cocktail hour at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Wow, this venue is absolutely stunning on its own, but was made even more so with the decor chosen by the couple. During the reception, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the father of the bride and maid of honor gave emotional speeches. As you listened to the stories about Nichole and Steven and saw how happy and excited they were throughout the entire day, you could tell that they are truly perfect for one another.
We absolutely love a wedding where the couple really personalizes the ceremony and reception to make it their own. That’s just what Megan and Ryan did for their wedding at the Milwaukee Historical Society. From the pre-wedding activities to the ceremony readings and music choices, everything was unique, beautiful and perfectly chosen for Megan and Ryan. The first look took place in the historical society’s library and you could feel the excitement as Megan entered and the two were about to see each other for the first time. After a beautiful ceremony and post-ceremony toast, the dance floor opened up in front of the vault. Guests danced the night away as they celebrated Megan and Ryan’s new marriage.
The Aloft in Green Bay was full of the the dulcet sounds of Beyonce as Abbie got ready for her wedding day. Cody received support from his two pups while prepping for the big day. A self professed crier, Cody was brimming with happy tears as he saw Abbie for the first time outside of Olde 41 during the First Look.
2015 is off to a great start! Our very first wedding of the year took place on a beautiful snow-filled day in the Northwoods. It was such an honor to film Katherine and Jason’s special day in a place that was so dear to their hearts.
Congratulations Katherine and Jason!
We had an amazing time filming Kelly and Jeff’s Door County wedding day. From beginning to end, the day was full of laughter and fun! After running through some post-ceremony bubbles, Kelly and Jeff jumped on the Door County trolley and headed off to explore Cave Point. Horseshoe Bay Golf Club had an amazing view of the sunset, which provided a beautiful backdrop for the toasts.
