Welcome to a preview of Kajua and John’s Appleton wedding at the Grand Meridian. The day included some good-old-fashioned Wisconsin football, home-cooked food, and three wedding dresses! Not only did they have the very talented Nkauj Hnub Qub dancers, but they also had a surprise choreographed first dance involving the entire wedding party.

We’re kicking this Wisconsin wedding season off with some Bridal Prep videography! Last weekend I got to spend the day in Appleton, WI with Kajua and John, a fantastic and fun couple. I can’t say all the guys were awake when I got to the Cambria Suites, but the entire bridal party was up and about bright and early on Saturday morning. What a beautiful wedding day. This year is off to a great start!

I also spent the day alongside Kay and Ty, two very friendly and talented photographers from Pretty Geeky Photography.

2011. What a year! We met so many fantastic couples and sent our wedding videographers all over Wisconsin. We filmed wedding videos in Madison, Minocqua, Oshkosh, Waupaca, and more! We were on a boat in the Wisconsin Dells, at a racetrack in Wausau, and surrounded by spooky monsters on Halloween. For one Madison wedding video, we even filmed a bride and groom lightsaber battle! Every wedding was unique, and every couple had their own story to tell.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of the couples that invited our videographers to be a part of their special day. It was truly a joy working with each and every one of you!! We can’t wait for this summer and look forward to all of the amazing weddings we will be filming!

Here is our latest creation, a Save-the-Date video featuring yours truly. Yep, I’m getting married this summer! It definitely was interesting being on the other side of the camera for a wedding video. My fiancée and I were planning on making a save-the-date video for a while and had lots of great ideas (and not so great ideas, like running around Stevens Point in penguin costumes…). We ended up making an ode to one of our favorite movies, Amélie! If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it.

I can’t express how much fun it was to make this video. We had a blast shooting it and are thrilled to be able to share it with family and friends.
